2009 Female Baseball Program
Baseball BC and the Girls Selects Programs are once again in full swing. The final selection of these teams are being finalized early this month. It is our intention to field both a Provincial Select Pee Wee team, to compete at the Western Canada Pee Wee Girls Baseball Championships (To be held in Surrey, BC) July 17 to 19 at Unwin Park in Newton, and a Provincial Select Bantam team to compete at the Baseball Canada Bantam Girls Championships in North York, Ontario August 20th to 23rd.
As is Baseball BC policy, all participating athletes, must be members of Baseball BC and be participating in a recognized BASEBALL program.
In order to have been considered, the athlete must have attended one of the Regional ID camps scheduled for the following locations…
- Okanagan – Kelowna (Lombardy Park) June 27 @ 10:00 am
- Vancouver Island - Victoria (Rotary Park) June 13 @ 10:00 am
- Lower Mainland - Cloverdale Ball Park June 20 @ 10:00 am
- Lower Mainland - Burnaby (Kensington Park) June 22 @ 6:00 pm
Successful candidates from each of the Regional ID camps will be invited to the Baseball BC Female Baseball Provincial Championships to be held (@TBA) July 3rd to 5th. The Provincial Championships will also serve as the final selection process for inclusion on our Provincial Select teams.

WINTERBALL is a school-based baseball curriculum for students between the Grades of 3 and 6. This program is completely turn-key in approach and can be administered to P.E. classes immediately.
Baseball BC is excited to partner with Douglas College for a consecutive summer and to again present and offer another year of Baseball BC Youth (Age 7-13) Summer Camps to the Lower Mainland.
