Coaching Opportunities - Baseball BC 2022 Male High-Performance Program

Baseball BC is a Provincial Sports Organization responsible for the administration and development of the sport of baseball within the province of British Columbia. As part of its mandate, Baseball BC organizes high-performance programming. For male athletes, this programming is focused in the 14U to 17U age divisions. Baseball BC seeks applications for a variety of coaching roles within the program during the 2022 season.

Opportunity #1 – BC Summer Games

Baseball BC requires eight zone based coaching staffs, each consisting of a head coach and two assistants.

Opportunity #2 – Team BC 14U & 15U

Baseball BC requires two coaching staffs, each consisting of a head coach, pitching coach, and an assistant coach.

Opportunity #3 – Team BC 16U

Baseball BC requires two coaches to work with a technical director on the 16U Team BC staff

Opportunity #4 – Team BC 17U

Baseball BC requires one coach to work with Technical Directors Anthony Pluta and Cav Whitely on the Select team staff.

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)

What is LTAD?

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.
