FREE COACH WORKSHOP: ENGAGING AND RETAINING GIRLS IN SPORT

Join Jays Care Foundation for an engaging virtual workshop that will provide coaches with tips and tricks to support a sense of belonging for girls on and off the field.

 

Coaches will walk away with:

  • Key considerations for enhancing a sense of belonging, safety and inclusion
  • Fun and easy games/activities that promote team connection
  • Strategies to involve parents, guardians and spectators for developing inclusive spaces

 

Each coach will receive:

  •  Girl-Centered Toolkit with strategies, games and activities to support practices and games
  • Coach Conversation Cards

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.
