The Thunderbird College Baseball Recruit Showcase is designed to introduce high school baseball players to an elite level baseball showcase with Canada’s best university baseball program November 2/3 2019. 

Weekend Detailed Itinerary

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND
9AM Intros at UBC Baseball Indoor Training Centre
9:30-10:45AM UBC Campus Tour
10:45–11:45AM Lunch (on your own) Walk up to Tourmaline West Stadium
12–4:30PM Ready on-field with 60 times
INF/OF
Position-specific work and evaluation
Batting Practice w/ Live Scrimmage
4:30PM On-field Wrap Up

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD
9AM Check in at UBC Baseball Indoor Training Centre
9:30-10AM Dynamic Warm-up and Movement Session
10-11:15AM Workout in Training Centre
11:30-2PM Lunch (provided by UBC) Q/A with Coaches and current players
12:30PM Wrap Up and Individual Meetings

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)

What is LTAD?

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.
