UBC Varsity Experience Camp


Experience the student-athlete lifestyle with UBC Baseball! The UBC Thunderbirds Baseball Coaching Staff and Players will host a week of on field and off field activities at The Rose ITC and the Tourmaline West Baseball Stadium at UBC. The overnight experience will give players a chance to showcase their talents and learn from some of the finest instructors in Canada. Players will get a glimpse of what it takes to play at the next level while living the life of a university student. Recruiting and admissions information will be shared from UBC Athletics, and the Admissions office to provide the next steps for prospective athletes. Players will stay on campus in dorms and all meals will be provided (full package).

Location: Tourmaline West Stadium and the Rose Indoor Training Centre
- Overnight Camp Experience: $1574.99
- 5-nights accommodation at a UBC Campus Dorm
- 3-meals per day

The purpose of our assessment is to gain a deeper understanding of an athlete’s current strengths and weaknesses. We leverage technology, data analysis, and evidence-based methods to inform our training. What is LTAD?

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.
