Baseball BC Announces New Championships Coordinator

Baseball BC is pleased to announce that Kyle Williams will be joining the association in the role of Championships Coordinator.

Kyle will begin effective today and will focus on all of the upcoming 2017 Baseball BC Provincial Championships, the 2017 Western Canada Baseball Association Championships and the formalization of Baseball BC Championship policies and procedures.

“Baseball BC is very fortunate to have Kyle accept this role and challenge as we look to further build on our Championships Program after a strong 2016 season”, says Baseball BC Executive Director David Laing.  “with his track record and involvement in all facets of the sport, both on field as a coach and also as an administrator at the board table, we are very excited about his addition to our group.”

Kyle has previously served BC Minor as Board Member and coached with both BC Minor and PBL programs in the past.  He has also previously been involved in the Baseball BC High performance program through events like the Prospects Camp and the BC Summer Games

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career. Enabling everyone to reach their full potential in the game of baseball and as an athlete.
