Baseball BC’s Grassroots Programming is committed to providing inclusive, diverse, and equitable opportunities in a fun, safe environment where children can learn the fundamentals of baseball. We work collaboratively with all member associations to review existing programs, understand local needs, and explore new initiatives that strengthen and advance grassroots development across the province. Our approach builds physical literacy through Long-Term Development (LTD) principles, starting with the Active Start stage to help young athletes learn the fundamentals in a positive, engaging setting. As players move through the pathway, we strive to support their growth at every step, leading to Sport for Life opportunities that keep participants involved in baseball, whether they choose to play, coach, umpire, or simply stay active in the game.
