The Just Play Ball program is a Grasroots initiative developed and run by The Dugout Club since 2015 in Richmond, BC. All genders are encouraged to participate in its various programs offered throughout the year. Whether you currently play baseball or not, whether you belong to this association or that, come on out and “JUST PLAY BALL”. It’s exciting and a whole field of FUN if we all make it that way!

With that, Baseball BC and The Dugout Club are thrilled to announce the return of the program to help both participants that are new to the game - who want to find out what they’ve been missing - as well as those more experienced who want to further their learning to THROW, PITCH AND HIT beyond what has been available during the Spring Seasons of baseball. (Sessions will run now through September including a celebration to wrap it up) …

Parent helpers and youth baseball coaches are encouraged to participate. Help not only your child’s growth and development of the game for now & years to come but also facilitate many others you will engage and mentor. ALL Coaches are strongly encouraged to work through the NCCP pathway towards being a Trained Coach and ultimately Certified. Instruction for initial sessions will be provided by long time baseball coach, Grant Rimer, while others like Matt Clay will be brought in as well depending on number of participants. Click here for Coach Bio's
