The Just Play Ball program is a free Grasroots initiative developed and run by The Dugout Club since 2015 in Richmond, BC. . Children between the age of 5-12 are welcome to attend and learn the FUNdamental skills of baseball including, throwing, hitting, pitching, fielding, and catching. TDC looks for various locations to host these events both Indoors and outdoors throughout the year.

While they will directly hold one “Introductory Session” at McNeely School on Jan 10th / 2018, the balance of the related programs will be run by the Cambie Community Centre - out of McNeely Elementary School - from Jan 17th / 2018 to Mid March. (Small fees to apply for indoor programs). Please go to https://www.richmond.ca/parksrec/about/registration.htm  for full details… For those familiar with Richmond’s on-line registration, you can go directly to https://classweb.richmond.ca/Activities/ActivitiesAdvSearch.asp .

These sessions are currently led by Sean Callegari, ex UBC and current international player who has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the game. Check out his biography here
