Baseball Canada announces Field and Ballpark Maintenance Clinic Series

OTTAWA- Baseball Canada in partnership with Major League Baseball and Turface Athletics are proud to present the 1st Field and Ballpark Maintenance Clinic Series.

Murray Cook, Major League Baseball’s Field and Ballpark Consultant will lead the clinic along with other industry experts.

Attendees will leave the clinics with the information to enhance the overall quality of their facilities and with the knowledge to use their resources more efficiently.

Clinics will take place in three different locations in 2014:

May 12th 8:45am-5pm Vancouver, BC (Nat Bailey Stadium)
May 14th 8:45am-5pm Edmonton, AB (Centennial Park) 
May 16th 8:45am-5pm Winnipeg, MB (Whittier Park)

Efficiencies in Maintenance and Renovations - Hands on instruction of mound, home plate & infield maintenance - Turfgrass Cultural Practices, Ballpark Safety & Equipment - Lighting Options & Maintenance - Fence & Railing Padding - Batting Cages, Screens & Protective Nets - Winterizing your equipment.

Covermaster and Turface Athletics will also have product to discuss at the clinics.

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career.
