Baseball Canada Grassroots Coaching Award

Baseball Canada's Coaching Committee awards Grassroots Coaches. The award is given to grassroots coaches who have demonstrated a positive coaching approach through the year, adhering to the LTAD principles, put forward some innovative developmental ideas while creating a fun environment for the young players. These winners are excellent role models while encouraging players to return to the game of baseball next season.

Baseball BC is very proud to announce the following BC Girls Baseball Program award winning coaches.  Congratulations to Stacy Fournier, Emily Fournier, Paige McDonnell, Niki Boyd, Kristi Watson, Claire Eccles, Liz Gilder, Katie Reyes and Marika Lyszczyk.

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)

What is LTAD?

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career. Enabling everyone to reach their full potential in the game of baseball and as an athlete.
