Call for Baseball Canada / WCBA 13U (Pee Wee) Western Regional Championship Hosts

Baseball BC, the recognized Provincial Sport Organization for baseball in British Columbia, is accepting bid packages or submissions of interest for the 2015 Baseball Canada / Western Canada Baseball Association (WCBA)13U (Pee Wee) Championships that are scheduled to be hosted August 13 to 17 in British Columbia.

This championship hosting opportunity is open to all Baseball BC members that may be interested.

This 8 team event (that will include the host team), will see the best 13U(Pee Wee) aged athletes from Canada’s western provinces play for bragging rights and memories that will last all involved a lifetime.

This event for athletes born in 2002 and 2003 will be played on a 70’ base path / 48’ pitching distance field

NOTE there are some differences with this specific championship that make the hosting obligation much easier due to the partnership with the Western Canada Baseball Association.

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.
