Baseball BC's January 2018 Newsletter is now published.  This edition features a piece on Wayne Norton, a pioneer and builder of our sport who recently passed away after a courageous struggle with ALS.
 
A call to action for umpiring in 2018, updated championship information, and NCCP partnership opportunities are also highlighted.

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)

What is LTAD?

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.

The Seattle Mariners are an American professional baseball team based in Seattle, Washington. The Mariners compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) West division. The team joined the AL as an expansion team in 1977. Since July 1999, the Mariners' home ballpark has been Safeco Field, located in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle. SoDo means "South of Downtown."
