Little Mountain at Little League World Series

Little Mountain Little League to participate in the Challenger Exhibition Game at the 2014 Little League World Series.

Little Mountain Challenger Baseball got the call to Williamsport and history has been made.

Challenger Coordinator Kris Gustavson received the news recently from Little League International Challenger Director of the Challenger Division & League Development Manager Sam Ranck with the tremendous news.  This is the first time in history an Canadian Challenger Team has been so honoured.

The 2014 Challenger Game will be played on August 23, 2014 at Volunteer Stadium.  Also participating in this year’s game will be a team from Clinton Valley (Michigan) Little League.

We are very pleased to celebrate the news with Little Mountain Challenger and all of the athletes and families involved.

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career.
