The BCPBL and UBC Baseball program are proud to announce Coquitlam Reds Outfielder Max Hollingworth as the 2013 recipient of the BCPBL Academic/Athletic Excellence Award.

Head Coach Terry McKaig commented “we were very fortunate to recruit Max to UBC and we are very excited to see what he will do for us over his UBC career. I’m not sure we have ever had an incoming Freshman with the physical abilities of Max and I look forward to seeing him round out his overall game. He is also a very gifted student and is at UBC for all the right reasons….pursue a world class education while chasing his baseball dreams. Max joins an impressive list of top BCPBL players that continue to choose UBC as their choice for college baseball."
The award of $6,000/year, will cover his costs for tuition, fees, and books. Congratulations to Max.
