The BC Select team has advanced to the gold medal game of a rain soaked Canada Cup in Regina after defeating Team Saskatchewan 8-5 in a Sunday evening semi-final. After Wednesday games were postponed, Team BC dropped their opener Thursday 5-3 to Team Ontario and trailed 5-0 in their second game when it was suspended due to rain. On Friday, Team BC swept a DH from Nova Scotia 3-0 and 12-1 before completing their suspended game against Ontario which finished in a 5-0 defeat. Saturday saw BC split a DH with Saskatchewan, losing 11-8 and winning 6-1 to finish the round robin at 3-3. Given the four weather delays, the gold medal game, originally scheduled for Sunday was moved to Monday evening.
