Hastings Community Little League to represent BC at Canadian Little League Championships

The Hastings Community Little League (Age 11-12) All-Star team defeated White Rock by a score of 20 to 0 on Saturday, July 28th to win the 2012 BC Provincial Little League Championship tournament played in Trail, BC. The Hastings team (roster below) will now represent British Columbia in the Little League Canadian Championship tournament to be played in Edmonton, Alberta from August 4 to 11, 2012. The winner of that tournament will represent Canada in the Little League World Series to be played in Williamsport, Pennsylvania from August 16 to 26, 2012.

What is LTAD?

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.
